Is Joe Manganiello Still Playing Deathstroke In The Batman?

There has been a lot of turbulence around The Batman. Ben Affleck decided that he will not direct it, Matt Reeves was brought in to direct, story has reportedly been rewritten multiple times already.

Where does this leave the movie?

Recently we got news that the movie will go to production in 2018, since Reeves is working on the newest Apes movie till the later half of this year.

Other actors beside Affleck, who have been confirmed for the movie are Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke.

While Irons as Alfred is pretty much a safe bet to be in The Batman, after many rewrites Manganiello’s Deathstroke may not be so certain.

And now the actor himself has responded to rumors of him not being in the movie.

During an interview with Pittsburgh Today Live, the hosts asked Manganiello if he will still be playing Deathstroke and the actor responded simply:

“Umm. Maybe. We’ll see.”

After so many changes to the movie it’s not surprising at all that the main villain’s role is under questions. But it seems that the actor himself doesn’t know if he will be a part of the movie or not.

But remember that Warner Bros or anyone involved in the movie hasn’t said that Manganiello is out of the movie.
