Prison Break Season 5 Episode 4 “The Prisoner’s Dilemma” Review

If Linc wasn’t at his best in the previous episode, he was on top of his game this time. The episode started with that beautiful scene with Sheba and Linc in the hospital. There is definitely some kind of a romance building up in there. Linc showed that he’ll still do anything for his brother when he refused to leave without Michael. And even more so, when he ran head on into Ogygia, even when he saw the guards running away from there. And don’t get me started on the moment when he came to Michael’s rescue… I’ll come back to that later!

Kellerman remained as a character I love to hate right until his death. And his interrogation by T-Bag was one of the greatest moments in the episode. And his final speech before his death was fucking phenomenal! He also told T-Bag that Poseidon is a rogue CIA-agent, his face was revealed and I’ll get back to that later. The show also showed that it can be funny, when T-Bag decided to call 911. Robert Knepper also sold very well the scene where he was spying on Poseidon.

Now to Michael and co. Michael was afraid(!) while they were kept in solitary, but he still remained totally in control of the situation. He had a tough time convincing Ramal to help him, but he was intimidating as fuck during that scene. Whip was panicking the whole episode. Michael revealed that he tried to get Cross to help him escape when he spent four years in solitary, but he didn’t trust him. I reckon that Cross’ ego couldn’t handle letting anyone help him. Eventually they killed Cross and escaped the prison. Michael showed his brilliance by appearing to ditch Ja, but he was actually trying to use him to double-cross Ramal. Unfortunately Ramal saw that coming and crossed them instead. This was one more time, where Michael showed that he won’t take orders from anyone when he refused to kneel in front of Ramal. This is when Linc came in in his full badassery taking out one guy with the turret and forcing others to drop their weapons. Whip proved that he’s an awesome character when he gave that awesome speech before killing Ramal. Michael’s reunion with Linc was one of the most emotional scenes in the whole series.

Wait what?!?!? Ness is Poseidon?!?!? WHAT?!?!? How far he has planned everything? Does Michael know he’s married to Sara?? Just……WHAT?!?!? I NEED ANSWERS DAMMIT!!!

Overall the episode was phenomenal with a lot of emotion, action, twists, fun moments and death. Once again it was proven that no one is safe in Prison Break with two major characters dying in one episode, along with few smaller characters. I’m dissappointed that we didn’t see Sara and we still didn’t see Sucre. But I guess we’ll just have to wait. I’d give the episode a rating of 9.5/10!
